Andy Awford returns for City

Andy Awford, the youngest player to take part in the FA Cup for City v Borehamwood on 10th October 1987, will return to St Georges Lane to play the the City team v Liverpool Legends on Sunday 2nd June.

Awford who is currently Academy Manager at Portsmouth played 25 games for his home club in the 87/88 season under George Rooney at just 15 years old. He went onto play 293 games for Pompey after leaving City and has been with them ever since.
