Chorley v Worcester City - Saturday 28th February 3PM Kick Off

We make our first ever visit to The Chorley Nissan Victory Park Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) to face Chorley in the Vanarama Conference North, 3pm Kick Off.

It will be the second time the clubs have met with City winning the one and only previous encounter 2-0 at Aggborough earlier in the season, with Ellis Deeney and Tristan Dunkley netting.

City will go into the game on the back of last Saturdays 2-0 win over Stockport County followed up by a 1-4 home loss to Solihull Moors. Mike Symons will undergo a fitness test after missing the game v Solihull due to a hamstring injury. Connor Gater and Tyler Weir remain on the injured list as does Michael Taylor although he is the closest to a return.

Chorley have had a decent season so far after being promoted from the Northern Premier League last season as Champions. They boast a healthy home average crowd of 1053 for the Conference North. Their biggest crowd this season was 2254 v FC United of Manchester in the FA Trophy (a club who are well on track to be promoted this season.)

Although Chorley's form has dipped of late, it was less than a month ago they were beating Fylde 3-1 away and they haven't dropped out of the top 7 all season (excluding the opening few games). They topped the table once, back in September.

Their Manager is Garry Flitcroft who spent 10 years at Blackburn Rovers as a player scoring 20 goals in 282 appearances. His finest moment came in 2001 when he captained the team to promotion from The Championship.

There will be live commentary with BBC Hereford and Worcester and the usual updates via Twitter @worcestercityfc
