Worcester City FC and the family and friends of Georgie Gibbs would like to thank supporters for their generosity at yesterday's game

Many of you will know that our special guest and mascot at yesterday's game was Georgie Gibbs.

Georgie from St Johns in Worcester has spastic diplegic celebral palsy and Georgie's family and friends are fund raising to enable her to have a highly specialist operation to help Georgie walk unaided.

As well as being mascot yesterday, Georgie met the players, posed for pictures with Georgie Dragon and led the players onto the pitch.

A bucket collection was held at half-time and full time and £501.39 was raised. Everyone connected with the Football Club together with Georgie and her family and friends would like to thank all supporters who gave so generously.

Any further donations may still be made via Paypal using the email address helpgeorgie@gmail.com, at Go Fund Me or at Dimonic Tunnell Opticians in Mealcheapen Street, Worcester.

Everyone connected with the Football Club wishes Georgie's family and friends every success with their fund raising efforts.
