Goals from Danico Johnson and Javea Roberts put to bed City's aim of retaining the Worcestershire Senior Cup on a warm evening at Walshes Meadow, Stourport.

After both sides cancelled each other out in the first half, the visitors started the second half with attacking intent.
The deadlock was broken in the 60th minute with a driven effort from Johnson. There was nothing that the trialist keeper, Raajan Gill, could do to keep it out.

The second goal came in the 72nd minute, as full back Javea Roberts was all alone at the back post, finishing calmly.

City pressed in to the final stages but couldn't break down the resolute Redditch defence.

Redditch now progress to the final to meet either Evesham or Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday at Bromsgrove's Victoria Ground.
