Championship side come out on top

City took on a full strength Aston Villa side at Walshes Meadow, Stourport this afternoon.

The crowd of 1972 were treated to an entertaining contest which saw City take the lead through a Matt Birley wonderstike from 30+ yards.
The lead didn't last as Jack Grealish equalised only minutes later with a cool effort in to the bottom corner.
Kozak then gave the visitors the lead ahead of half time with a header from Alan Hutton's cross.

The second half saw Stylian Petrov take to the field, being applauded by all corners of the ground.
Villa started the second half with determination, causing Tyler Weir to clear off the line minutes after the restart.
Hepburn-Murphy, one of Villa's changes, picked the ball up in his own half and outpaced Graham Hutchison. He cut inside and calmly finished low past Draper to double the visitors lead.
Both teams made numerous changes going in to the final 20 minutes, one of those being Keinan Davis for the Villains. Davis had an instant impact and put the game to bed with a brace late on.
