The City winger opens up to worcestercityfc.com

worcestercityfc.com: So, Daniel... Tell us about yourself?

I'm 23 years old and I live in Milton Keynes. I work in finance, credit control stuff. I like keeping fit, so it's football, gym and work. I'm also big in to listening to new music and going to gigs. My brother is a musician (Rocky Nti) so I'm always going to watch him and checking out new bands and artists.

worcestercityfc.com: You came from Loughborough University, tell us about your time there.

Yeah, I was at Loughborough with a few former players, Ebby Nelson-Addy and George Williams as well as Sam Minihan. George Nash and Alun Webb too. I did well with my studies. I studied psychology. I got a 2:1 so I was happy. It was great!

worcestercityfc.com: Do you have any pre-match superstitions?

I always say a little prayer before the match and when I step on the pitch I do a little jump and a sprint. Nothing like one boot on before the other, like Vaughany! Haha.

worcestercityfc.com: What's been your favourite game this season?

I enjoyed the AFC Fylde away trip. That was a brilliant team performance. We went there when they were 2nd in the league and we played so well. I also had a great time in the 5-0 Stalybridge victory in front of the City fans. It was great to give back to them after all their support.

worcestercityfc.com: Do you have any phobias?

I don't, but, if a snake crept up on me, well...

worcestercityfc.com: What football team do you support and who was your hero?

Manchester United and Ruud Van Nistelrooy. My dad brought me up on United and Ruud was just incredible. A real clinical striker. Anything in the box, he scored. United were the first team I ever went to see.

worcestercityfc.com: If you could have any meal what would you have?

Spaghetti Bolognese!

worcestercityfc.com: What tune gets you up for the game?

Before every game, we put on Diplo & Sleepy Tom - 'Be Right There'. As soon as we come back into the changing room, that goes straight on and gets everyone pumped before kick off.

worcestercityfc.com: What would you sing at karaoke?

It'd have to be a Michael Jackson tune... Billy Jean!

worcestercityfc.com: What's your nickname?

"Ntz", or if you ask Alex Gudger, he tries to hammer me and calls me "Schnoz", as I've got a big nose!

worcestercityfc.com: How do you find the real life/football balance?

It is hard to juggle. Everyone in the team knows that and have their own struggles to make it work, but, we're all determined, we have the passion and love the game, so it all comes together.
