Get to know the new City midfielder

worcestercityfc.com: Tell us a little about yourself:

“I've just turned 30 years old and I live in Solihull on the outskirts of Birmingham. In the day I work in credit control for Severn Trent Water in Coventry. I've got a little boy and I love spending time with him when i'm not working.

worcestercityfc.com: Besides football, what else do you enjoy doing?

“I'm really in to watching sports. I'm big in to boxing. I've just started watching Sons Of Anarchy on Netflix too.”

worcestercityfc.com: Do you have any pre-match superstitions?

“Yeah, I never touch the white lines when I walk on to the pitch. That's the only one though.”

worcestercityfc.com: What tunes would get you up for a game?

“I love a bit of Hip-Hop, so I'd have to say Drake.”

worcestercityfc.com: How have you been keeping yourself fit through the close-season?

“I've been going to the gym as regular as possible and also trying to play as much football as I can. 5-a-side, 11-a-side. Just trying to play as much as possible.

worcestercityfc.com: Who is the best player you've ever played with?

“Omar Bogle. At his age, he had everything in his locker. He could do everything. He could be a target man. He could beat his man. I really think he is destined for the premiere league.”

worcestercityfc.com: What teams have you previously played for?

“I was at Solihull Moors for more than ten years. I also had a loan at Brackley at the end of last season, but only those two.”

worcestercityfc.com: If you could have any meal, what would you have?

“Chicken and mushroom pie and chips!”

worcestercityfc.com: If you could have any car, what would you have?

“A really high-end Range Rover.”

worcestercityfc.com: What's been your biggest footballing achievement?

"It would have to be winning the league last year. Even though I didn't play as many games as I'd have liked to, it was great to see the club I'd spent my whole career & made over 300 appearances for reach the top of non-league. I'd like to think I've played my part in that."

worcestercityfc.com: What is the most important game that you've ever played in?

"A few years back it was between Solihull and Hinckley to stay up on the final day and we needed to win. We lost to Halifax, but luckily, Hinckley lost as well, so we stayed up."

worcestercityfc.com: What are your expectations for the 2016/17 season?

“I want to obviously finish as high as we can. I want to be challenging at the right end of the table, but the league is looking really strong this season. It's going to be difficult but I really feel we will be challenging up there.”
