City VS Chorley - Saturday 27th August - 3pm Kick Off

City midfielder, Junior English spoke to worcestercityfc.com ahead of tomorrow's Vanarama National League North tie VS Chorley.

"I've really enjoyed the season so far, even though we haven't got the results we wanted just yet. Worcester City is a good club to be at where you're well looked after and i've been made very welcome.

"The supporters have been great and have turned out in their numbers. It's always good, as a player, when you've got vocal supporters like ours to create a great atmosphere. We're a young team and will make the odd mistake, but if the supporters stick with us, like they have, hopefully we can repay them and start winning some games.

"I think the potential is there for everyone to see - We're a new team so it will naturally take time to gel. We've got the ability in the squad to have a really good season.

"I think the young lads have really impressed - The likes of Chekaine Steele, Ebby Nelson-Addy and Colby Bishop. Lee Hughes has shown his still got that quality and Danny Jackman is one of the most technically gifted players I've ever played with.

"Saturday will be a tough game, as they all are. Chorley will be big physical side which we will have to match. Once we then impose our pace and energy we should hopefully pick up our first 3 points."
