Video interview with Mark Owen and Dean Waldron

Mark Owen talks about the Academy set up which works in partnership with the Heart of Worcestershire College.

Find out about the Academy and who the most influential player Mark played with during his City playing career (if you couldn't guess) where he netted 123 times in 273 appearances making him the 5th all time top goal scorer.

Dean Waldron also talks about the Academy and playing in the first team.

For anyone of school leaving age there will be another set of trials taking place at Little Perdiswell, Droitwich Road,Worcester, WR3 7NS on Thursday 2nd April 09.15 am.

All school leavers are welcome.

The course is full time with lads splitting their time between training, playing matches and studying a full time sports course. Please visit Heart of Worcestershire College for more details on the course or alternatively turn up on the day and all will be explained.

The course has been running successfully for 14 years with several players breaking into the first team squad.

The Academy play in the British Colleges League on a Wednesday and the Midland Combination under 21s on a Saturday. In 2013/14 the team made Club history by reaching the FA Cup 2nd Round and going out to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Everyone is free to come to the trial and see if this opportunity is for you.
