City's two previous games v Fylde last season saw 4-0 wins for the Coasters but that was soon forgotten as Amadou Bakayoko gave City an early lead then on 20 minutes Daniel Nti added a second from the penalty spot which also saw Fylde reduced to 10 men.

Fylde then pulled one back before the break through Dion Charles before Danny Rowe added a second early in the second half.

Then with 9 minutes to go Daniel Nti defied the odds to score the winner with a brilliant finish in the top corner.
