Worcester City v Hednesford Town - Bank Holiday Monday 31st August 3pm Kick Off

City face Hednesford Town in the latest Vanarama National League North match at Aggborough this afternoon with a 3pm Kick Off.

Both sides have struggled so far this season and Hednesford arrive without a manager with Rob Smith departing for AFC Telford United last week, quickly followed by Darren Campion who left City to join him.

The Pitmen head to Aggborough aiming to put the disappointment of Saturday’s home 0-3 defeat against FC United of Manchester behind them.

The last time the sides faced each other on a Bank Holiday was Boxing Day 2014. With The Pitmen leading 3-0 with just 13 minutes to go, the game was abandoned due to deteriorating weather and pitch conditions. The game was replayed later in the season which ended 2-2.

City meanwhile have brought in 19 year old Nikolai Todorov on loan from Nottingham Forest in a bid to bolster the attack. City are looking to end a run of three successive defeats including a 2-0 loss at Brackley Town on Saturday,
