Support your Club for next season by purchasing a season ticket

Season Tickets have now been on sale for a few weeks. The Club Board will be setting next seasons playing budget based on season ticket sales, so please do not delay.

SEASON TICKET ARRANGEMENTS AND PRICES.

Rather appropriately we announced our season ticket plans at the match v Vauxhall Motors, a club who, through lack of support and sponsorship have been forced to resign from Conference football and plunge seven levels down the pyramid.

The Board have thought long and hard about the prices and offers in the flyer, trying to be financially realistic and gain majority support and understanding at the same time.

There is hope on the horizon, Perdiswell plans were submitted to Worcester City Council by WCFC Supporters Trust on 16th April for planning approval. That is for the future, in the stark present we have had the final £62,000 sponsorship from Careys Homes and, when all match day expenses are taken into consideration, it will continue to cost us over £2000 a game to play at Aggborough, something fans have told us they would like to do.

With average gates less than 500 and a need to stay at this level of football to guarantee the highest possible grants for the Perdiswell development, we will have two main sources of income; our Goldbond lottery and gate receipts. Everything, the future, depends on our supporters showing their commitment to the Club by buying season tickets. Alongside this the Club will be looking to secure additional sponsorship deals to help plug the gap left by the loss of the Careys money.

We felt it was important to appeal again to all those who bought a £100 ticket in 2013 just to show support for the Club, not intending to watch many games or, in some cases, none at all. But, realistically, it isn’t possible to again offer a full season’s matches for so little. The £100 ticket is retained, next season it will give entrance to any ten matches.

Turnstile prices will go up by £1 except for under 16’s. But if our regular supporters take advantage of generous discounts for full season tickets, adults can still watch City for £10 a game. In addition we will be giving fans the option to choose to pay by 2 or 3 instalments. All of this is designed to ensure that we are able to give Carl an adequate playing budget for the coming season, yet at the same time protect the longer term viability of the Club as we continue to work to get back to the City of Worcester as soon as possible.

An interesting introduction is the City Gold Ticket, this has the benefits of entrance and a match day programme for all home games, four pre-match meals at Aggborough and four away trips on the team coach.

The cheap train fare from Worcester to Kidderminster will again be on offer to season ticket holders. Those who travel by car will pay a reduced price for parking. As a final, additional encouragement we will be offering a 10% discount to any Season Ticklet holder who introduces a friend who is a first time buyer.

We feel that the offers have something for all our supporters and are confident of a good response.

Season Tickets are now available for purchase via the club website and at all games until the end of the season.
