City full-back, Sam Minihan signed from Loughborough University in the Summer. After stepping up a few levels in the non-league pyramid, Sam has impressed both management and supporters, thus becoming one of the first names on the team sheet.

Sam spoke to worcestercityfc.com about tonight's fixture away at Lowestoft Town:

"We expect a tough fixture, obviously. Both teams need to pick up a victory." says Minihan. "We go in to every game with confidence and we have more than enough to go there and win. We need a fast start and with the firepower up front, technical ability in midfield and the solidity at the back, we know we have enough to come away with the 3 points.

"Team spirit is high at the moment, as it always has been. There are some huge characters in the dressing room and all of the lads are rallying around each other. Wayne Thomas in particular, he's helped me out so much as a defender. During the game and in the changing room, he's always giving me tips and pointing me in the right direction.

"I've absolutely loved my time at the club. It was a big big step up coming from Loughborough University, but i've learnt so much and i'm thoroughly enjoying it at Worcester City."
