Our mascot for tomorrow's game against AFC Telford will be Georgie Gibbs.

Georgie Gibbs and her family and friends will be our special guests at tomorrow's game against AFC Telford.

Georgie will get to meet the players and staff before leading both teams out as today's mascot, and everyone at Worcester City Football Club hopes Georgie and her guests enjoy their visit to Aggborough.

As you may have seen in the local press 3 year old Georgie from St John's has spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. Her family are waiting to hear whether a highly specialist operation to help Georgie walk unaided will be NHS-funded. It is hoped Georgie can have the operation at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children but, if not, fundraising through the Help Georgie campaign will fly her over to America to have the operation there. If her bid is successful, money raised through the Help Georgie campaign will be used to pay for aftercare which is not available on the NHS.

The campaign has held a number of fundraising events recently, including a tug of war on Sunday 8th November which was attended by City players Nathan Vaughan and Sam Minihan. Nathan has very kindly donated his shirt from the Bramall Lane tie to be auctioned to raise money for the campaign. Anyone wishing to bid for this shirt or any of the other items being auctioned can do so via the Bid 4 Georgie Facebook page.

A charity collection will be held at tomorrow's game for the Help Georgie charity, and all donations will be greatly appreciated.

Donations can also be made via PayPal using the email address helpgeorgie@gmail.com , at Go Fund Me - Help Georgie or at Dominic Tunnell Opticians, Mealcheapen Street.
